take some dry seeds of moong or chana put some quality of seed in a container. filled with water leaves this aside for a day. next day, drain the water completely and leaves the seed in the vessel wrap dance with a peace of wet cloth and set aside the following day, you do observe any change in the seed?

wash the seeds in water drain the water and leave them aside for another day cover with a wet cloth the next day see if the seeds have been sprouted after washing this sprouted seeds you can eat them too
