8 years ago Ravi's age was three fourth of Pramod age . four years hence Ravi's age will be six seventh of Pramod age. find their present ages..

8 yrs ago, pramod age =(X-8)yrs.
8 years ago Ravi age =(Y-8)yrs
a/q,(Y-8)=3/4(X-8)
on solving it we get,
4y-32=3x-24
3x-4y=-8..................(I)
now 4 yrs hence pramod age =(X+4)

a/q,(Y+4)=6/7(X+4)
on solving it we get, 7y+28=6x+24
6x-7y=4......................(ii)
