AOB IS STRAIGHT LINE

PROOF=

X+Y+Z+W=360

X+Y+X+Y=360(GIVEN)

2(X+Y)=360

X+Y=180

SINCE THE SUM OF ANGLE SUBTEND ON

STRAIGHT LINE IS 180

X+Y=180

OR

W+Z=180

SINCE AOB IS STRAIGHT LINE (because it subtend s angle 180)

x+y+z+w=360 ( sum of angles around a point is = 360)

now,

since, x+y=z+w

x+y+(x+y)=360 ( substitution)

2x+2y=360

2(x+y)=360

x+y=360/2

x+y=180

therefore AOB is a straight line
