Step-by-step explanation:

sin 4 A+cos 4 A

We have (a 2 +b 2 )2 =a4 +b4 +2a2b2

⇒a4 +b4 =(a2 +b2)2-a2b2

Take a=sinA and b=cosA we get

sin4A+cos4A=(sin 2 A+cos 2 A)2−2sin2A cos2A

=1−2sin2A cos2A

: hence proved.
