Unlike other two children the youngest daughter Maggie was not adopted due to some dysfunctional.

Joe Thompson feeling bad for the youngest one, adopted her despite knowing his wife’s unpleasantness. Mrs. Thompson initially was bitter about Maggie but after a couple of days she become very fond of Maggie and decided to keep her forever.
