There are three main kinds of pollution that affect the lives of people in the city. They are air, noise and water pollution. The number of vehicles on the roads is the chief cause of air pollution. The poisonous fumes emmitted by the exhaust pipes of the cars and buses constantly add to the level of carbon dioxide in the air, this reducing the purity of the air. It is this poisonous air devoid in the right content with oxygen that causes breathing disorders, leading to a number of cases of asthama and bronchitis. Another major factor that contributes to air pollution in the number is factories and small industries where they discharge effluents that mix freely with the air we breathe.
