PLEASE READ FULLY MY DOUBT IS WILL IT WORK?

I have a laptop that supports 1080p quality and does not support 4K quality, I have a 4K T.V
and i have 4K movie file in my laptop
so if i connect the laptop to T.V using a HDMI cable will i be able to see the 4k movie on T.V

I think yes, your t.v definately play the selected movie in 4k if the movie is in 4k quality.
