A thin ring of radius R is made of a material of density p and Young's modulus Y. When the ring is rotated on a smooth horizontal plane about its centre in its own plane with angular velocity (omega) , the small increase in its radius is ∆R= x(P (omega)^ 2 (R ^ 3) /Y ). Find the value of x?
