The above exercise is from the part of the grammar comparison of adjectives.

Exercise:

a) Sanskrit is the most systematic language.

  • No other language is as systematic as Sanskrit.

b) She is a not as good a dancer as a choreographer.

  • She is a better choreographer than a dancer.

c) Water is as necessary for life as air.

  • Water is no more necessary for life than air.

Assimilate:

Adjective change in forms to show comparison there are three degrees of comparison.

  • When only two things are compared the comparative degree of adjective should be used. The use of superlative degree as in such cases is a frequent source of error.

  • Positive degree donate the simple quality. It is used when no comparison is made.

  • The highest degree of comparison is called superlative degree.
