Non polar covalent bond is formed between the two nitrogen atoms to form a nitrogen molecule

It is so because such nonpolar covalent bonds are formed between atoms with very similar electronegativity (in this case, electronegativity of each N atom is so high, that is, 3), so that electron density will be shared between both the atoms forming molecule equally throughout it.
