1. ELECTROPOSITIVITY
Trend in a group:
The faster a metal loses its electron, the more metallic or electropositive it is.
The tendency of a metal to lose electrons depends upon the atomic size of the metal. As we move down a group the number of shells keeps increasing, and so does the atomic size. The larger is the atomic size the farther are the electrons from the nucleus. Thus, the effective nuclear charge is very less and the electrons can be easily lost. Hence, the electropositive character increases as we move down a group.

Trend is periods:
In any period as we move from left to right due to the increase in the number of valence electrons in the same shell, the effective nuclear charge increases and atomic size becomes smaller as the valance electrons up old closer to the nucleus. Thus, it is difficult for an atom to lose an electron with the smaller atomic size. Hence the electropositive character decreases across a period.

2.ATOMIC SIZE
Trend in groups:
In moving down a group, there is a progressive increase in the number of energy shells. As a result, the distance of the outermost electron from the nucleus increases on going down a group leading to increase in the atomic size.

Trend in period:
In moving from left to right across a period, the valence electrons increase by one and the nuclear charge increases progressively. As a result, the electrons a pulled closer to the nucleus. This causes the decrease of atomic size/atomic radius. Thus, within each period, the atomic size decreases with increase in atomic number from left to right.

TROPHIC LEVEL
Various steps or links representing an organism in a food chain where transfer of food and energy takes place is called a trophic level.
Various trophic levels:
•Producers. Eg green plants
•Consumers or heterotrophs. Eg herbivores(cattle, rabbit etc.), carnivores(lion, tiger etc), omnivores.
•Large carnivore or top carnivore or tertiary consumer. Eg eagle
And parasites
