Salt solution of water is clear and permits the passage of light through it, Whereas solution of potash alum is not clear

So solution B , light is visible

Salt solution is a true solution which allows the path of light and doesn't scatter it.

Whereas potash alum solution , is a colloidal solution which scatter the path of light through it.

Thus, in beaker B the path of light is visible.
