Answer:

Ans 3 :-

Given that the value of the sum of x and y is 12 and the product of the terms x and y is 14.

Using this identity becomes, Substitute x + y = 12 and xy = 14

In the above expansion, we get, Therefore, the value of is equal to 116

1. As, the bases are equal.

2-x = 3[ 2/3 ÷ -1/3]

2-x = 3[ 2/3 x -3]

2-x = 3[-2]

2-x = -6

-x = -6-2

-x = -8

2. 4x²+ 9y²- 25z² + 12xy

= (2x)² + (3y)² - (5z)² + 2(2x)(3y)

= (2x)² + 2(2x)(3y) + (3y)² - (5z)²

= (2x + 3y)² - (5z)²

∴(2x + 3y + 5z)(2x + 3y - 5z)

3.Given, x+y=12 and xy=14

x+y=12

Squaring both sides, we get,

(x+y)² = 12²

=>x²+ y² +2xy=144

=>x² +y² +2(14)=144

=>x² + y² =144−28

=>x2 + y² =116
