x-a*x-b = x^2 +(a+b)x + ab = x^2-2x-1

a+b = -2, ab=-1

(x-2a+1)*(x-2b+1) = x^2 + (-2a+1-2b+1)x + 4ab-2a-2b + 1

= x^2 - 2(a+b-1)x + 4ab -2(a+b) + 1

= x^2 + 6x + 1
