Average expenditure =(8×12)+x÷9
But it is given that
x=average+8
×=8×12+x÷9 +8
x=96+x÷9+72/9
x=96+x+72/9
x=169/9+x/9
x-x/9=168/9
8x/9=168/9
8x=168
x=21
total money=8×12+21=117
