Given :

Angle DOB = 2x + 14

Angle AOC = 3x - 49

Angle DOA = y

Angle COB = z

Aim : To find all the angles

Angle DOB = Angle AOC [Vertically opposite angles]

Angle DOA = Angle COB [Vertically opposite angles]

Angle DOB + Angle DOA = 180° [Linear pair]

Angle DOB + Angle BOC = 180° [Linear pair]

Angle AOC + Angle DOA = 180° [Linear pair]

Angle AOC + Angle COB = 180° [Linear pair]

3x - 49 = 2x + 14 [Vertically opposite angles]

bringing all the constants to one side and variables to the other side,

3x - 2x = 14 + 49

x = 63

Therefore,

Angle DOB = 140° [(2×63) + 14]

Angle AOC = 140° [(3×63) - 49]

y + 140° = 180° [Linear pair]

y = 180° - 140°

y = 40°

y = z [Vertically opposite angles]

y = z = 40°
