1). Shifting cultivation: Shifting cultivation is the type of cultivation in which the farmers cut trees and clear the land for cultivation.They also burn the uprooted trees and mix their ashes in the soil so as to fertile the soil. After cultivation and harvesting they move on to other land and repeat the same process. 

PLANTATIONS:  A large farm, especially in a hot part of the world, on which a particular type of crop is grown

2).Primary activities 
 a. These activities are concerned with production of natural resources.

Tertiary activities
a.These activities provide support  to primary activities, they offer aid in the production process through various services and helps in the development of the primary sector.

3).Mixed Farming 
→Under mixed farming agricultural land is used for multiple purposes.
→ In mixed farming the land is used for growing food and fodder crops and rearing livestock

Ranching:
→It is the practice of raising and grazing livestock like sheep for wool.
→Under ranching, farms are exclusively used for raising livestock like herds of cattle, sheep or horses.
