weight = 6N

different sets of area of different surface of the block of length 8cm, width 6cm and height 6cm can be :

length × width = 8×6 = 48 ---- (i)

width × height = 6× 6 = 36-----(ii)

length × height = 8×6 = 48------(iii)

pressure exerted in

$(i) = \frac{6}{48} = \frac{1}{8} \\ (ii) = \frac{6}{36} = \frac{1}{6} \\ (iii) = \frac{6}{48} = \frac{1}{8}$

as we can see minimum pressure is exerted in (i) & (iii)

So, front side , back side , up side and , down side will exert minimum pressure.
