Ans1.A penguin's form differs from that of flying birds, and is more similar to other long-distance swimmers such as whales, dolphins, seals and tuna. With bodies tapered at both ends, they encounter little resistance as they push through the dense medium of water.They have a torpedo-shaped body that helps them to move easily through the water.

Ans2.Their wings (called “flippers” on penguins) and feet also serve a purpose. Although their flippers are not much use on land, they function like propellers when underwater, allowing them to move forward and increase their speed automatically .
