Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{x + 3}{3}  -  \frac{x - 2}{2}  = 1 \\

 \frac{2 \times x + 3 - 3 \times x - 2}{2 \times 3}  = 1

 \frac{2x + 6 - 3x + 6}{6}  = 1

12-x = 6

x=6

 \frac{1}{x}  + p = 1

 \frac{1}{6}  + p = 1

p = 1 -  \frac{1}{6}

p=5/6
