Please share with me what your aspirations are and how this class will help you meet your goals. My
goals: Once you have set your lifetime goals, set a plan of smaller goals that you need to complete for
this week. If you find it helpful, create a daily To-Do List of things that you should do today to work
towards your goals. (note- this is optional) At an early stage, your smaller goals might be to read books
and gather information on the achievement of your higher level goals. This will help you to improve
the quality and realism of your goal setting. Finally, make a connection to the material you will learn
this week. Read the names of the chapters to be covered this week. How can you make the topics help
get you toward your life goals? Any connections? For example, maybe the title of the chapter is
Emotion and one of your smaller goals could be to help regulate your own emotions or to help your
parents become more aware of their own emotions.
