here, p(x) = 3x³-13x²+15x-7 ........(1)

g(x) = x - 2 = 0

hence x = 2

substituting x = 2 in (1) we get

p(2) = 3(2)³-13(2)²+15(2)-7

=> 3(8) - 13(4) + 15(2) - 7

=> 24 - 52 + 30 - 7

=> 54 - 59

=> - 5

therefore remainder is - 5 ( option 2 )
