please show me the experiment that how sunlight is necessary for undergoing photosynthesis by a plant.
please explain me clearly and step by step please!!

first cover the middle part of leaf with a foil and leave the plant in sun for 2 days. after that keep the leaf in boiling water and then when the leaf turns black, test the presence of starch. you will observe that the middle part will not turn blue black this shows that in the absence of sunlight the plants cannot make food
