-(i-i₁)2+4i₁+20=0

-2i+2i₁+4i₁+20=0

2i-6i₁=20

i-3i₁=10

From (1)

(5-2i₁) - 3i₁ = 10

-5=5i₁

i₁= -1 A.

Here minus represents the current is flowing opposite to the direction we have taken.
