[ 3x/4 - 4y/3 ]² + 2xy

( a - b )² = a² - 2ab + b²

= (3x/4)²- 2×(3x/4)(4y/3) + (4y/3)²+2xy

= 9x²/16 - 2xy + 16y²/9 + 2xy

= 9x²/16 + 16y²/9
