(a) Since you are provided with the area of the lane as well as the pots.

Hence you can find the number of pots by dividing the area of lane by the area of pots, i.e.

(7x^2 + 42x +63) / (x^2 +6x +9)

on dividing this you will get quotient as 7

Hence, 7 pots can be placed


(b) Trees are of great value for us as they provide oxygen to the environment without which survival ain't possible. Also, they balance the ecosystem.
