now to verify by division algorithm
=>a=bq+r

i)a=5x²+4x-3

b=x-3

q=5x+19

r=54

now,RHS
bq+r

=>(x-3)(5x+19)+54

=>5x²+19x-15x-57+54

=>5x²+4x-3

hence,LHS=RHS
verified.

ii)a=7x³-8x²+5x+1

b=-x²+2

q=-7x+8

r=19x-15

now taking LHS,
bq+r

=>(-x²+2)(-7x+8)+(19x-15)

=>7x³-8x²-14x+16+19x-15

=>7x³-8x²+5x+1

hence,LHS=RHS
verified.
