Answer:

  • The average pressure exerted by the block on its base is 1000 Pa.

  • Refer to the attachment for solution.

_________....

Additionally-

{\underline {\underline {\sf{\green { Few \: points \: related \: to \: pressure- }}}}}

  • The effect of force on a given area is called pressure means pressure is the force per unit area.

{\huge {\boxed  {\tt { P = \frac {F}{A} }}}}

  • The SI unit of pressure is Pascal (Pa).

{\huge {\boxed  {\tt { 1 Pa = 1 N{m}^{2} }}}}

[ 1 Pa is equal to 1 Newton per square meter. ]

  • The lesser the area of the contact of a given body will be,the more is the pressure exerted by it will be.

  • The more the area of contact of a given body will be ,the lesser the pressure it will exert.

  • The more force acting on the body,the more pressure it will exert.
