Answer:

17)(ii)( - 5 \times  \frac{2}{15} ) - ( - 6 \times  \frac{2}{9} )

 = ( -  \frac{2}{3} ) - ( - 2 \times  \frac{2}{3} )

 =  -  \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{4}{3}

 =  \frac{ - 2 + 4}{3}

 =  \frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

 \sf(ii)( - 5 \times  \frac{2}{15} ) - ( - 6 \div  \frac{2}{9} )

 \sf( -  \cancel5 \times  \frac{2}{ \cancel{15}} ) - ( -  \cancel6  \times   \frac{9}{ \cancel2} )

 \sf( -1 \times   \frac{2}{3} ) - ( - 3 \times 9)

 \sf( \frac{ - 2}{3} ) - ( - 27)

 \sf \:   \frac{ - 2}{3}  + 27

 \sf \:   \frac{ - 2}{3}  + \frac{27}{1}

Take LCM of 3 and 1

 \sf \frac{ - 2 + 71}{3}

 \sf \:  \frac{ \cancel{69}}{\cancel3}

 \sf \: 23

I hope it is helpful
