(i)Total number of possible outcomes = 20
Number of favourable outcomes = 4
Hence, P (getting a defective bulb) = 4/20 = 1/5
(ii) Total number of possible outcomes = 20-1 = 19
Favourable outcomes = 19- 4= 15
P (not getting a defective bulb) = 15/19

Means why 19 possible outcomes
see in 1st part one bulb was picked...suppose tht it was not defective and it was not replaced ...means usse hamne vapis nahi rakha ..th the total no. of oucomes = 20 - that non defective bulb =19
