Answer:

4. KI=ET= 12 cm, KE= 13 cm

5. x =130°

Step-by-step explanation:

4. KITE is a rectangle with diagonal KT. Therefore its other diagonal must be IE and its sides must be KI, IT, KE and ET .

The value of IT is given=5 cm, KT= 13 cm.

 Now, a rectangle's diagonal divides it into two congruent right- angled  triangles( since each angle is 90°) .Taking KIT as the triangle,

= (IT)²+(KI)² = (KT)²  ( Pythagoras' theorem)

=> 5² + (KI)² = 13²=> (KI)² = 169 - 25 = 144

=> (KI)²= 144=> KI =√144 = 12 cm.

Now, KE = IT( Opposite sides of a rectangle)= 13 cm, and KI = ET =12 cm.

5. x = ∠EOB +∠OBE( Exterior angle of a triangle)

   x= 85°( Vertically Opposite Angles) + 45°( Diagonals of a square bisect each other)

=> x = 85°+45° => 130°
