Initially the Height of the Tree =15 m

Now , when it breaks a part of it will remain Perpendicular to the Ground (AB) and remaining part (AD) will make angle of 60°

or we can say ab + ad = 15m

Now, in ∆ABD

 \sin(60 =  \frac{a b}{ad} )

=> ab = √3ad^ 2

frome (1) and (2)

ad√3+1^2 = 15m

=> ad = 30^√3+1

= 10.98 ...( take √3 = 1.73)

Frome (1)

ab+10.98 = 15

ab = 40.2m..

so its broken at 4.02m from ground..

i hope it will helpfull,to you gyus..❣️❣️
