List the steps of preparation of temporary mount of a leaf peel

Removal of peel from leaf.

Stain with safranin.

Put the stained peel on a clean slide.

Mount it with glycerine and cover slip.

1)Take a small piece from an onion bulb.

2)With the help of a pair of forceps , we can peel off the skin from the concave slide of the onion .

3)This layer can be put immediately in a watch - glass containing water.

4)Take a glass slide. put a drop of water in it and transfer a small piece of the peel from the watch glass to the slide .

5)A thin camel hair paintbrush might be necessary to help transfer the peel .

6)Put a drop of safranin solution on the piece followed by a cover slip.
