Answer:

Hi,

According to the problem given

,a - b = 3 ---( 1 )

a² + b² = 29----( 2 )

We know that the algebraic identity,

( a - b )² = a² + b² - 2ab3²

= 29 - 2 ab[ From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) ]

9 = 29 - 2ab2ab

= 29 - 92ab

= 20ab

= 20/2ab

= 10I

hope this helps you.:)

Answer:

11/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the formula (a-b)^2

(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab

9=20-2ab

2ab=11

ab=11/2

5.5=ab
