1. Work done = loss in KE = 1/2 m (v² - u²) = 1/2 * 0.050*(200²-50²) J
     W = 375*5/2 J

2. Work done = 1/2 m (v² - u²)
     W = 1/2 * 0.100 *[(432*5/18)²-(144*5/18)²] J
     a = (v - u)/ t = [432 *5/18 - 144*5/18) /0.01  m/s²
     Force F = m a 
     Force * thickness = W / s        =>  s = W/ma

     Or,  thickness s = (v+u)/2*t = (432*5/18 + 144*5/18)/2 * 0.01 meters

3.  m = total mass = 50 kg.   Height h = 100 m.  time t = 300 sec.
     g = 10 m/s²
     Work = Increase in PE = m g h = 50*10*100 = 50 kJ
     Power = W/t = 500/3 Watts

4.  KE = 1/2*96* 20² J = 19200 J
     PE = KE on touching ground = m g h = 50*10*h
     So   500 h = 19200   => h = 38.4 m

5.  m = 0.5 kg.  Stone falls h = 1 m downwards.  g = 10 m/s².
     KE gained = PE lost = m g h = 0.5 * 10 * 1 = 5 J
      PE at 2 m height = m g h = 0.5 * 10 * 2 = 10 J

6.   Energy spent by engine in 5 sec, = m g h + 1/2 m v²
      E = 40* 10*50 + 1/2 *40*5² J
      t = 5 sec.
       Power = E/t =   Watts/
