Hope u like my process
=====================
=> Let the water drop takes x sec to reach ground i.e. 5 m
=> Initial velocity (u) = 0
=> Acceleration = gravity = 9.8 m/s (constant)
So..
=>Distance directly proportional to (time)²
For second drop,
=> Time taken be x/2 sec.
So.. Distance travelled will be ¼th of 5 m
So.. Its (5- 1.25) m above ground..
That means 3.75 m above ground.
Hence option a(✔️) is the required distance. _________________________
