Since triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEF
AB/DE = AC/DF
=> 2.5/DE = 2/2.4
=> DE/2.5 = 2.4/2
=> DE = 1.2 × 2.5
=> DE = 3
Hence DE = 3
2. Solution:
we have,
volume of sphere = 113.04 cm^3
=> 4/3 × pi × r^3 = 113.04 cm^3
=> 4/3 × 22/7 × r^3 = 113.04 cm^3
=> 88/21 × r^3 = 113.04 cm^3
=> r^3 = (113.04 × 21)/88 cm^3
=> r^3 = 2373.84/88 cm^3
=> r^3 = 26.9754 cm^3
=> r = cuberoot (26.9754 cm^3)
=> r = 2.99909 cm
Therefore radius of sphere is 2.99909 cm
