❏ Solution

Prove here:-

  • a × ( b + c ) = a × b + a × c

Given:-

  • a = 4/3 , b = -10/9, c = -1/3

Case(1):-

Take L.H.S.,

➩a × ( b + c )

[ Keep value of a , b and c ]

➩ 4/3 × [ -10/9 + (-1/3 )]

➩ 4/3 × [ -10 - 3 ]/9

➩ 4/3 × (-13)/9

➩ - 52/27

Case(2):-

Take R.H.S.

➩ a × b + a × c

[ Keep value of a , b and c ]

➩ 4/3 × (-10/9) + 4/3 × (-1/3)

➩ (-40/27) + (-4/9)

➩ ( -40 - 12)/27

➩ - 52/27

Here, L.H.S. = R.H.S.

That's proved

We can say that,

Distribution property is satisfied .
