Let the radius of bigger quadrants be R=1(given) and smaller circle be r.
Consider the right angled triangle AOP
AO=R+r=1+r
Ap=1
OP=R-r=1-r
Applying Pythagoras theorem we get-
r=1/4
Now sum of are of quadrants=π1²/2=π/2
Area of smaller circle is π(1/4)²=π/16
π/2+π/16=9π/16
Now area of rectangle is 2
So area of shaded region=
2-9π/16=13/56

PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST IF HELPFUL!!!

sanidhyasingla: how OP is R-r
07161020: The length of breadth is 1 which =R so OP=R-r=1-r
