Given :-

EQ 1 :- 5x + 4y - 4 = 0

EQ 2 :- x - 12y - 20 = 0

Now, EQ 1 × 3

We get,

15x + 12y - 12 = 0

Now Solving I and 2

15x + 12y -12 =0

+ x - 12y - 20 = 0

16x - 32 = 0

16x = 32

=> x = 2

Now, Put x = 2 in eq 2

x - 12y - 20 = 0

(2) - 12y = 20

-12y = 18

=> y = 18/-12 = -3/2
