question :

Subtract : \sf 3a(a+b+c) -2b(a-b+c) \: from \: 4c(-a+b+c)

To Find :

  • 4c(-a+b+c) - [3a(a+b+c) -2b(a-b+c)]

Let's solve,

Open the brackets by multiplying

\sf -4ca+4bc+4c^2 - [3a^2+3ab+3ac -2ab + 2b^2+2bc] \\ \\ \sf\implies -4ac+4bc+4c^2 -3a^2 -3ab -3ac + 2ab - 2b^2 +2bc \\

Bring like terms together,

\sf \implies  -3a^2 - 2b^2 + 4c^2 + 2ab -3ab -4ac -3ac + 4bc +2bc

Add like terms
