 \:  \:  \:  \:  \: multiply \: both \: sides \: by \: 2

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 4 {x}^{2}  - x = 0

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: (x)(4x - 1) = 0

taking x = 0 and (4x - 1) = 0

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \: x = 0 \:  \: and \: x =  \frac{1}{4}  \\
