WonderGirl: Angle CBD is 140 degrees
surjuseakansha201: can you please solve this question
WonderGirl: Cyclic quadrilateral means thr sum of opposite angle of the quadrilateral is 90 degrees. So angle ABC = 90 - angle APC = 90 - 50 = 40 degrees.
WonderGirl: angle CBD and angle ABC are in linear pair. angle ABC + angle CBD = 180 => angle CBD = 180 - angle ABC = 180 - 50 = 140 degrees
WonderGirl: Hope you understand! :-)

angle abc will be 80 degree as its a cyclic quadrilateral it is not given but its true as all its vertices touch the circle therefore the angle cbd will be also 100 degree as its a linear pair.
hope it helps.

Prathamattri2062: I remember this question exactly because I did it in 2016 when I was in class 9th
johncena8: its 180 degree not 90 u dont know
johncena8: in am in 9th
johncena8: i did this sum
johncena8: check ur book
Prathamattri2062: but what are you saying is 180°
Prathamattri2062: please tell precisely
Prathamattri2062: I want to know that according to u what is 180°
Prathamattri2062: wait are u talking about linear pair
Prathamattri2062: if that is so then for your kind information I haven't used that concept here

<AOC = 2<APC
100°= 2 * <APC {ANGLE formed by a chord at center is equal to 2* angle formed at remaining part of circle. Here the chord will be AC}

<APC = 50°

We know that exterior angle to a cyclic quadrilateral is equally the interior opposite angle

which in this case is <CBD

Therefore <CBD = <APC =50°

Hope it helps you
