Then solution ↓

3x -  \frac{1}{3}  = 2(x -  \frac{1}{2} ) + 5 \\ 3x -  \frac{1}{3}  = 2x - 1 + 5 \\ 3x - 2x = 3 - 1 + 5 \\ x = 2 + 5 \\ x = 7
