Answer:

50°,70°

Step-by-step explanation:

5x+7x+60°=180° ( angle sum property of a triangle)

12x=180°-60°

x=120°/12

x=10°

5x=5×10°

=50°

7x=7×10°

=70°

Question:-

  • One angle of a triangle is 60°. The other two angles are in the ratio of 5:7. Find two other two angles.

____________

Given :

  • One angle of traingle is 60°
  • Other two angles are in ratio of 5:7

To find:-

  • Other two angles

Solution:-

We know that, according to the 'angle sum property of triangle', Sum of all interior angles of traingle is always 180°.

Now,

Supposing that constant of ratio is x then other two angles are 5x and 7x.

Now,

According to Angle sum property of triangle:-

Sum of all interior angles of triangle = 180°

→ 60°+5x+7x = 180°

→ 60° + 12x = 180°

→ 12x = 180° - 60°

→ 12x = 120°

→ x = 120/12

→ x = 10

Hence,

Constant of ratios is 10

Therefore,

  • First angle is 60° ••••••(given)
  • Second angle = 5x = 5×10 = 50°
  • Third angle = 7x = 7×10 = 70°
