To find the maximum number of bulbs so that they can be used in the line, we have to divide the total Power of the line by the Power of a single bulb.

So,
The total Power of the line = Voltage x Current.
= 220 V x 5 A
= 1100 W.

The Power of single bulb is 100 W.

Hence, the maximum no. of bulbs
= 1100 W/ 100 W
= 11 bulbs.

To find the cost for one month(take 30 days), 4 hours a day,we have to multiply the total unit consumed in one month with the cost per unit.

1 unit = 1 kW h

Total power is 1100 W. Hence, 1.1 kW x 1 hr = 1.1 unit.
Let's take as 1 unit.
Total hour is 30 x 4 = 120 h.

Therefore,
Cost is 4.80 x 120 = Rs. 576 per month.
