a+b=180°--------2
on adding eq. 1 and 2 it will give
2a=280
a=140°
so,b=40°

Answer 2

a - b = 100°

But a + b = 180°

100 + b + b = 180°

2b = 80°

b = 40°

a + 40° = 180°

a = 140°
