Hey mate,

1 Answer :

The answer is seven. If we take out the alphabet S from S-E-V-E-N then it becomes even.

2 Answer :

Everyone who can buy a ticket at a movie theater must be a responsible adult.

A grandfather was first a son himself then a father = one count of adult, three titles (grandfather, father, son). He accompanies a son and bought one ticket.

Another son could be an adult = one count of adult again, or that son could be a child less than 3 years old, may or may not be related to the grandfather above. A child less than three is free at movie theaters at least at Regal theaters.

Since we do not know the actual age of the other son, the number of tickets bought could be one, or two if that son is also a responsible adult.

Hope it helps...
