You r given with value of, a = 3 + 2√2
Now, we have to find (a⁶ + a⁴ + a² +1) / a³
dividing a³ with each of nemerator we will get: (a3 + a + 1/a + 1/a3)........(1)
a = 3 + 2√2
1/a = 1 / (3 + 2√2)
on rationalising: (3 - 2√2) / (3² -8)
=> (3 - 2√2)
substituting values of a and 1/a in equation (1)
(3 + 2√2)³ + (3 + 2√2) + (3 - 2√2) + (3 - 2√2)³
(3 + 2√2)³ + (3 - 2√2)³ + (3 + 2√2) + (3 - 2√2)
(2*3³ + 6*3*(2√2)²) + (6)
(54+144) + (6)
