Question:- A wheel makes 360 revolution in 12 minute. Through how many  radian does it run in one second

Answer:

π radian/second

Explanation:

1st Approach:-

Given that a wheel makes 360 revolutions in 12 minute.

12 minutes = 12 × 60 seconds = 720 seconds.

We know that in  1 revolution wheel will run 2π radian.

Thus in 360 revolution wheel will run 360 × 2π radian

                                                             = 720π radian

Our statement is reformed as Wheel run720π radian in 720 seconds.

Hence  rotation in one second = 720π/720

                                                    = π radian/second

2nd Approach:-

Given that a wheel makes 360 revolutions in 12 minute.

Thus number of revolution ins one minute = 360/12

                                                                       = 30 revolution/minute

Our statement is reformed as Wheel makes 30 revolution in one minute

1 minute = 60 seconds

⇒  Wheel makes 30 revolution in 60 seconds.

We know that one revolution makes an angle of 2π.

Thus 3 revolution will make run to 30×2π = 60π radian

⇒ Angle made in one second = 60π/60

                                                  = π radian/second
